Patrick Michael Karnahan produces the Sonora Celtic Faire,the All Hallows Fantasy Faire - "Half-way to St. Patrick's Day" Celebration and musical event, is also the leader of the Black Irish band, and is an accomplished artist who is known for his oil paintings of trains and U.S. Forest Service posters. His works are on display at Brooks framing and Art, Bowl of Cherries, and the Pinecrest Fine Arts Gallery.

The Black Irish Band, also known as the Hooligans of Jamestown, have been together for 20 years and have released 20 CD albums to date. www.blackirish.com

The bands 20th year performing which also marks the bands 20th album release titled “TWENTY”. The whole album was recorded live in studio and features the bands trademark songs. Michael Martin Murphey has recorded "The Grizzly of Old California" with Patrick Michael Karnahan and the Black Irish Band.

Murphey recorded "Into the Fire" with the Black Irish Band for CD tribute to Americas brave wildlands fire fighters last year. Patrick Michael Karnahan did a painting of Michael and The Rio Grande Scenic Line for Michael's exclusive CD only made available to rail passengers on that line during the High Altitude Concert Series. A song written about Irish Railroad works by Patrick Michael Karnahan, "Mic and Paddy", appears on that same CD, which is titled, "Ridin' the Rio Grande"
