Dodge Ridge Will Open Wednesday, December 17th!

December 13, 2014 — PINECREST, Calif. –Dodge Ridge is excited to announce Opening Day of the 2014/15 Season on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 with chairs 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 & 8 opening at 9 a.m., accessing over 75% of the mountain. All lifts will be available with at least 27 runs groomed. The Magic Carpet will be open for Snowsports School lessons, and Rocky’s Road Terrain Park will be open with six features. “We are very pleased this past storm delivered the needed snow. We will be opening on Wednesday, with great conditions just in time for the Holiday Season and we will have all lifts in full operation for Saturday, Dec. 20th and Sunday, Dec. 21st.” said Sally Helm, President & CEO of Dodge Ridge.

All skier and rider services will be in full operation on Opening Day, with the Creekside Café opening at 7 a.m. for breakfast, Guest Services opening at 7:30 a.m. for season pass pick up, ticket, lesson, and rental sales, and the Demo Center and Sport Shop opening at 8 a.m. The Snowsports School will be offering all lesson programs and packages including the ever popular Intro to Snow for children as young as 2 years old. Since last Thursday Dodge Ridge has received over 19″ of new snow, and it’s currently snowing here at Dodge Ridge with another 8-14 inches of new snow possible by Wednesday afternoon.
