Maximize Your Membership in the TCVB

One of the many services we offer our members is submitting information about events and your business to the media.  We respond to media requests on an ongoing basis.  We  highlight events, itinerary ideas and trip suggestions for visitors in all market segments.

We can give your business more exposure if you’ll take a few minutes to do the following:

• Make sure the information on the TCVB website about your business and/or event is current and accurate. The website is our first go-to source. Making sure your phone number, street address, email and website are listed is vital.
• Check that the link to your website from ours is working and correct. If not, let us know and we’ll get it fixed.
• Give a complete description of your business and/or event. One or two lines does not provide enough information for most of the media we submit ideas to on a regular basis. If it involves and event, we need dates, times,  prices, and as much additional detail as possible.
• Take the time to post events and special activities on your page. Be sure to      submit events to us for the website as far in advance as possible. Some of the media require as much as 3-4 months advance notice – especially magazines.

Taking the time to submit events and verify the accuracy of your listing can help us to help promote your business as widely as possible.
