Tuolumne County offers a variety of activities including hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, river rafting, camping, gold panning, skiing, and sightseeing. The Historic Gold Rush towns of Sonora, Columbia, Jamestown, Twain Harte and Groveland have much to offer in the way of art, festivals, live theater, shopping and entertainment. We are home to more than 200 farms and ranches. You will find Delicious farm fresh fruits and vegetables, wines bursting with flavor, fragrant roses, cattle, llamas, sheep, and goats. Many of our members are happy to welcome you for a tour of their farm or ranch. There is much to learn about where our food comes from and the hard work that goes into producing the world's food and fiber.
