Dardanelle Area Campgrounds

5 campground locations approximately 50 miles east of Sonora on Hwy 108, for a true high country camping experience. Located on the banks of the Stanislaus River, 20 miles East of Pinecrest, these campgrounds are some of the highest on the Sonora Pass. This area offers some of the best fishing, hiking and scenery in the region.

Eureka Valley: 28 sites
Brightman Flat: 31 sites
Dardanelle: 28 sites
Boulder Flat: 21 sites
Pigeon Flat: 9 walk-in sites

Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, some campgrounds have paved roads and pads and others do not. Vault toilets are available at all campgrounds and potable water is available. No RV hookups are available. There is a General Store located at Dardanelle and an RV water filling station located at the Brightman Ranger Station.

All sites are first come – first serve. Golden Age, Golden Access and Senior Passes are honored.
