The Cub Inn
The Cub Inn
Imagine waking up in a log cabin in a warm, snuggly bed with a big quilt on top, and looking outside to see that you're surrounded by majestic pine trees and a crystal clear blue sky. After a good night's sleep, you'll enjoy a hearty country breakfast (chef Joe's signature specialty is biscuits ‘n gravy') that will get your day off to a great start.
The Cub Inn is located in the Sierra Nevada mountains in the quaint town of Groveland, California. The Inn is just off Highway 120, which is one of the main routes to the Northern entrance to Yosemite National Park – just 25 miles from our front door.
At the end of your day exploring one of the world's most incredibly amazing sites of Yosemite, or just spending your day strolling through the charming town of Groveland and surrounding areas of interest, we invite you to join us in our living room. We encourage you to kick off your shoes, put your feet up on the coffee table (a must!) and enjoy a glass of wine and a little snack. We are anything but formal here.
The Cub Inn features five guest rooms – each with its own warm and inviting décor and a cozy quilt on each bed. Each room has a queen-size bed with its own private bathroom and shower. The Inn has a large library for those folks who prefer spending a leisurely day on the expansive deck to read a good book, soak up some sunshine and take in the beauty that surrounds the Inn.
We have high speed, wireless internet service available at the Inn, but we have chosen not to provide televisions or phones in our guest rooms. We don't want to detract from the beauty and serenity of these magnificent mountains.
