Gianelli Vineyards Nabs Top Awards at SF Wine Competition

Congratulations to Ron and Lorie Gianelli, owners of Gianelli Vineyards in Jamestown, who were honored with five medals by the prestigious 2013 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, including Best of Class for both the 2010 Aglianico and the 2009 Dolcetto. Gianelli’s 2009 Grenache garnered a silver medal, and the 2009 NINO and 2010 Montepulciano were awarded bronze medals. They entered 7 varietals and won five awards!

They were invited to pour their award-winning wines during the Feb. 16 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Tasting in Fort Mason. Stop by their tasting room on Main Street in Jamestown and see what all the fuss is about.
