Mother Lode Ranch

The Mother Lode Ranch is owned and operated by Don and Laurel Rumsey. The ranch is a full time working cattle and horse ranch.
The ranch operates a full service carriage company with carriages, and wagons for all occasions. Specializing in Weddings, Parties, Grand Openings, Parades, Group Picnics, Hay Rides, Funerals, Quinceaneras, and Wagon Trains, with a Stage Coach, Chuck Wagon and all types of Wagons and Carriages. Farm Equipment, and about anything you can use horses for.

The Mother Lode Ranch also hosts Private Events such as Parties, Weddings, Camp Outs and Trail Rides with miles of horse trails and wagon roads. We have filmed parts of 3 motion pictures here on the ranch.

We host Community Service Events with TUCARE, 4H Clubs, Boy Scouts of America, California State Horsemen Association, Tuolumne County Sheriff Posse, Back Country Horsemen of California, Twain Harte Horsemen association, and many others.
